Shipping policy
Thanks for ordering from Don Chilio. Here's everything you need to know about how and when your crisp gets to you.
Order Processing
Orders are processed within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays). Orders placed after 12:00 PM PT, on weekends, or on holidays begin processing the next business day.
You'll receive a confirmation email when your order is placed, and a second email with tracking once it ships. During promotions, new product launches, and the holiday season, processing may take a little longer — we'll always note any delays at checkout.
Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
We ship from California via USPS and UPS. Rates and delivery times are calculated at checkout based on your destination and order weight.

Delivery estimates are counted from the day your order ships, not the day it's placed. Transit times are estimates provided by the carrier and aren't guaranteed.
Free Shipping
We offer free standard shipping on orders over $19 within the contiguous United States. The discount is applied automatically at checkout.
Where We Ship
We currently ship to all 50 US states, including Alaska and Hawaii. Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories ship via USPS and may take additional time.
Decision point — international: Most small food brands start US-only because shipping food across borders triggers customs, import permits, and food-labeling rules that vary by country. If you want to ship internationally, let me know and I'll add a section covering customs duties, restricted destinations, and the "buyer is responsible for import fees" language. Otherwise this line stays as-is.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order ships, you'll get an email with a tracking number. It can take up to 24 hours for tracking to update after you receive it. If your tracking hasn't moved in a few days, reach out and we'll look into it.
Damaged or Broken Items
Our jars are glass, and once in a while a package takes a hard knock in transit. If your order arrives damaged or broken, email us at hello@donchilio.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the damage. We'll send a replacement or issue a refund — no need to return the broken jar.
Lost or Missing Packages
If tracking shows your order as delivered but you can't find it, please:
- Check around your delivery location and with neighbors or building management.
- Allow 1–2 days — carriers occasionally mark packages delivered before they arrive.
- If it still hasn't turned up, contact us at hello@donchilio.com and we'll help track it down or make it right.
Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We're not able to reroute or refund orders shipped to an address entered incorrectly, but we'll always do our best to help. If a package is returned to us due to a bad address, we'll reach out to arrange reshipment (additional shipping charges may apply).
