Jalapeño Chili Crisp – Mild, Zesty & Crispy

I found these while looking for whatever the hell Mathew McConaughey was talking about when he was sharing his tuna salad recipe and I’ve been hooked ever since. The jalapeno crisps are good on so many different foods it’s unbelievable. I’ve been singing their praises and telling everyone I know about them. Perfect for anything that could use some spices crunch, which turns out is most things.

Plain and simple, every single friend keeps asking for more, it is so good. I've bought six jars so far. I'm addicted to the Smoky Salsa, but I'll grab another 8 of the Sweet one next week!

After they stopped selling under the Trader Joe's label, I nearly lost my mind and went on the hunt to find the company responsible. I ordered them for myself and friends and family from the website. My favorite is the habanero. I'd moved to the UP of Michigan to a small town of 14k and one day discovered them on the shelves of our local grocery store and was delighted. I bought all of the jars thinking it was a fluke at $5 each. I went back and found them replenished and bought everything they had on the shelf. Soon I found that I was competing with someone for buying them as I would leave one and then change my mind and go back and it would be gone. Well, that was 2 years ago and I left Michigan and brought my stash of the remaining eight jars with me to Dallas. I've gone through four jars now and I'm delighted to find that they are sold in my local Sprouts. I use it in lemon tea, bone broth, stews, eggs, pizza, tacos, you name it. Absolutely fantastic!

Living the Don Chilio products. These are great on/ in everything the infused olive oil is fantastic. The habanaro has more heat than the jalapeño, and keeps the great flavor and texture. Everything from tuna salad to hard boiled eggs and burgers, they kick the food up an notch.

Get out there and buy five.

These chili peppers were fantastic. Absolutely loved them.
